Jimmy Roberts grew up in Great Neck NY. Mr. Roberts has written 5 Off Broadway musicals including the smash Off Broadway hit I Love You, Your Perfect, Now Change which is the 2nd longest running Off Broadway musical of all time. That musical has been performed in all 50 states and over 25 countries. Jimmy will be singing and playing the Great American Songbook on the library’s beautiful Steinway piano. It is not often a performer of this caliber performs in Great Neck, be there you will be glad you came.

This is the same Battle of the Bands show that we had last year. It was so popular that the Business Improvement District decided to do it again. Come on down and vote for which band you like the best. Last year the Beatle band won. Who will win this year? Promenades are when the street is closed off and the restaurants bring their tables on the street and serve their patrons there, while the band entertains them. This is a fun event.
